After showing his acting skills in 8 Mile back in 2002, Slim Shady is set to return to the big screen for crime thriller Random Acts of Violence.

Originally inspired by the Grand Theft Auto video game, the script for the film has been re-drafted a few times and is now being compared to movies The Town and The Departed.

Em is up for the lead character role of a guy who gets released from prison but is pressured back into a life of crime by his old gang as well as being an informant for the FBI. The character uses both of these worlds to play the people that got him locked up in the first place.

RAoV is reportedly being produced by Eminem’s Shady Films and 20th Century Fox alongside David Von Ancken of Californication fame but no filming date has been confirmed as yet.

Eminem already possesses an Oscar for his musical contribution to 8 Mile, with Lose Yourself winning the Best Original Song gong. With his Recovery album being the top-selling in the US last year, we can only anticipate the potential level of audio-epicness on this soundtrack.

That's why people should back up and make extra copies of everything...play if safe. You'd think someone like Just Blaze having all these songs on this important drive would have a second copy of all the data in case something like that ever happened.

My harddive crashed too a few days ago, no backup, everything might be gone Stuff from 10 years old, school stuff, music collection, everything
