This is why that's so ignorant. You have no idea what people are going through that prevents them from continuing school. Yeah, dropping out of school is a bad decision, but it doesn't mean AT ALL that they're not as intelligent as you or me.

What if someone gets deported and they don't get the chance to even attend school anymore, despite being a great academic? Are they "retarded"? What if someone gets addicted to a heavy drug, not because of themselves, but because of the people around them, and they end up getting kicked out of school? Are they "retarded"? What if someone drops out because of emotional trauma? What if their parents force them to?

It is not "retarded" because you fail the 10th grade. Everybody has flaws in their life, and some people are given them without a choice. It seems easy to you and me because we're good at it, we have opportunity, but not everybody does. There are people who drop out of 10th grade that will be more successful than you and me, Jared, don't tell me that because you view it as "easy" that it is impossible to drop out unless you're retarded.
