@LEllo

what abt inzahghi and van nistelroy?

van nistelroy used to score 35 goals in the premiere league and he just touched the ball to the back of the net,by your logic he is a bad striker.

That only shows how much you understand about football.

Lello wrote:lol one of the world's best? LMFAO!! Berbatov's control is very good, but a striker should run you know that? a striker's job is not just standing there waiting for the ball to get to his head or foot, Berbatov's a lazy player, he rarley runs, why do you think he never plays him in important games anymore? notice every important man utd this season (atleast the second half of it) had berbatov on the bench, cause he is not a trustworthy player in these games, he might drift off and fade away from the game.

@Sleepy, Torres has never been shit, he just had a bad injury this season, and he wasn't shit, he just wasn't his usuall self, you watch Torres next season, and I'm sure everyone will eat their words

Yes believe it or not, he's one of the best strikers in the world, i'll put him atleast in the top 15. As Sir Alex Ferguson has said, there's fast -- and then there's football-fast. Speed in football isn't just about sprinting speed. That matters, but even then, speed without the ball is very different to speed "with the ball". Berbatov isn't the fastest sprinter, but he's no slouch when running with the ball. However, as SAF said, "speed of thought" is often more critical than "speed over the ground", and in football terms, Berbatov is certainly a fast (and very intelligent) "thinker".

This is illustrated not by "how" he moves, but by "where" and "when" he moves; to the inexperienced eye, he may appear lazy; in truth, he is both economical and efficient with his movement -- simply because he is so quick and smart at figuring out when and where to move in order to cause the defense the most difficulty.

Hernandez has great movement too. He is also smart but is more inclined to use his speed to get in behind the defense, or use the threat of his speed to drag them around. Different styles, and neither style is absolutely better than the other -- but it's wrong to judge Berbatov's efficiency of movement as resulting from "laziness" or just plain "slow".

Berbatov was our key player till February, after that Chicharito started scoring every game, And Berbatov is on the bench only for this reason, Chicharito's unique form.

To tell you the truth, MU's team work has been disappointing this year, at times, and if Berbatov hadn't proved his exceptional skills, MU would still be trying to catch Chelsea.

About Torres i completely agree with Sleepy. He has been shit from over a year. I know people will say he was not fit but he has been the same all season, how long does he actually need then to get fit ,is 8 months not enough.
