Section.80

Postby mcZu » May 6th, '11, 17:25

Section.80 is Kendrick Lamar's debut album, which is dropping soon. From what I've heard up untill now --HiiiPoWer, Ignorance is Bliss, Ronald Reagan Era f. RZA-- this album is shaping up to be a great album. I can't fucking wait to listen to it. That, and J. Cole's album...

We're in for a treat, people. Hip Hop's newcomers (Kendrick Lamar, BIG KRIT, J. Cole, Jay Electronica (though not really 'new')) are working on promising projects.

This is exciting.

The market is over saturated with softer hip hop artists (Drake) and Kendrick is one of the new street cats with some buzz.

Exactly, the likes of Kendrick give me high hopes for the future of the mainstream side of Hip Hop. He and Big KRIT are the only Freshmen this year that really deserved the ''fame'' in my opinion.

Moron.

And not because of your opinion, but your train of thought.

Another release, perhaps from the album.

I've been listening to so much Kendrick lately, and I think he's going to be a legend.I'm feelin' homie's music a lot. I think the dude is talented as fuck.

I really believe he's the long lost son of Tupac who was born in New York. I mean after Tupac's death, there was so much hope for MC's from the West to continue on from Tupac's message but learn from his mistakes, and not one person did that. 15 years later and one of the most soulful artists in hip hop is from Compton, who woulda thunk it?
