D12 Member Swift Sentenced To 93 Days In Prison

A day after a warrant was issued for his arrest, D12 member Swift was sentenced yesterday (April 20) to 93 days in jail for violating terms of his probation in a drunken driving case.

Swift was due in court on Wednesday afternoon (April 19) for a hearing which would determine whether he violated terms of his probation stemming from a drunken driving case.

The rapper had been ordered to stay away from drugs and alcohol after pleading guilty last October to an operating a vehicle while visibly impaired charge. Since then, he had tested positive twice for drugs and alcohol and has spent several days in jail.

According to authorities, Swift was found near his Novi, Michigan home and was escorted by police to the court where Judge Mackenzie, who issued the arrest warrant, sentenced him to 93 days in the Oakland County Jail, with 10 days credit for time he previously spent in jail for the same offense.

but on the other hand i guess Swifty did something bad, you know.. drunk drivers are dangerous and he shouldn't have done it.. ttg nothing bad happened back in October.. :unsure:

i feel sorry for him and the whole crew, but don't you think it's quite fair? i mean we all are his big fans and we feel like "no, it ain't fair" but if he was a normal guy we all would be prolly mad if he didn't go to jail for 93 days.. i hope you know what i mean lol :sweating: it's like walend said - no respect for drunk drivers.. but on the other hand i didn't want him to go there now.. :(

my words exactly - i have no sympathy for drunk drivers either, the idiot could've hurt somebody, so he deserves to be punished whether he's Swifty or not, or whether that's gonna delay an album or not

I agree that drinking and driving dont belong, but still this aint a good month for any of the members of D12

the judge couldn't respect the fact that Swift went to the funeral of 1 of his best friends...
Proof's death gave nuttin' but trouble :(
