Fifteen years ago, the life of Tupac Shakur was taken prematurely in one of hip hop’s greatest tragedies. Now, the Outlawz, founded by Tupac, look to pay tribute to him with the release of their new album, Perfect Timing. Slated for release on Sept. 13, the date of Tupac’s death, the album will be released independently and is set to feature Young Buck, Krayzie Bone, and Tech N9ne. Speaking on the release date, Outlawz member E.D. says:
“The name of the album is Perfect Timing, and we feel like it’s perfect timing to drop the album on that date. Why not drop it on that date and turn a negative day into a positive?”
Tech has always publicly stated his respect and adoration for Tupac, and what better way to pay respect to a legend than to be part of such an important release.
