Some sort of gadget

So, I want a desktop gadget (for Windows 7, 64 bit) that will let me know that I have new mail (not yahoo, not gmail). I want to configure the gadget to let me know that I have received a new mail at gangstamail@something.whatever. Maybe tell me "you have 1 new mail" (should check my mail at least from 30 to 30 minutes). Does anyone know about such gadget? Or if it's not possible through a gadget, how can I know I have new mail (displayed on my desktop) without actually log in the browser in the mail account?
