Hey. So I was directed to this forum post and had to register to post a response, against the strong advice of the person who sent me here. First off, thanks to Geno for starting this thread and to the rest of you, Husky included, for checking me out and being open minded. I appreciate that.
I just wanted to address what Husky said about me changing and becoming significantly more arrogant following the increase in my buzz and shout outs from some bigger names, because it did offend me a bit. I try my hardest to be the opposite, if you go to my twitter timeline and facebook fan page you'll notice that I respond to every tweet and wall post I receive, barring a few I overlook. Obviously as a person's following increases, so does the amount of people who contact them so it's a little harder to keep up with every single one. Other than that I'm not really sure how you drew the conclusion that I was arrogant, I never brag about being "the best" or talk down to anyone. I do state a lot of opinions I have, but that's what I feel is beautiful about the social networking generation. I never claim my opinions are right, I know they are opinion. I'm genuinely curious as to what makes me appear cocky to you, because I feel I've done my best at remaining as humble to date as possible, along with maintaining a relationship with the listeners who, as you said, are immensely responsible for my success to this point. It's funny, because I often tweet and post on tumblr about my distaste for arrogance, especially in the hip hop community, and the importance of remaining humble. At the end of the day, you have your opinion on me as a person, but I thank you for still listening. And I'm curious as to which of my peers that made it into the finals of the Rap it Up contest has this opinion as well!
Anyways, thank you all again for checking my stuff out! And regarding the images if you google me, apparently there’s also a porn star that goes by Alyssa Marie, those naked images aren’t me! Haha. Take care. Thanks for the honesty, peace!
