Bad Romance DOES rip-off Disturbia...a LOT.

The instrumental in the verses of Bad Romance is exactly the same as Disturbia, and the choruses are similar aswell.

Bad Romance also rips-off the beat from a song called Ballanation by DJ Dean.

The ONLY thing in Bad Romance which isn't ripped-off from another song is those noises in the instrumental which come in when Gaga sings "Love, I want your love", and it turns out those are actually presets, called "hoover synths".

Bad Romance is awful. Paparazzi too. Lady Gaga's only good songs are her collabs with Wale and the Video Phone remix. Too many of her songs sound the same. Although that's RedOne's fault more than Gaga's, since RedOne is the one that makes all her songs. Fernando Garibay's songs are a little bit better, but still boring.

I don't care how talented Lady Gaga is, she needs to release a few songs that aren't generic. You and I is a good start.

She's always fully clothed instead of gyrating around half naked like most of the popular female artists. She managed to turn a ballad into the most popular song of the year over all the generic dance-tracks and most impressive these days, she can actually sing. Popularizing substance over surface is pretty unique these days.

That's the key, he doesn't need them to sing the Hook tbh, him singing on the Chorus has always appealed more to me. "So Bad", "Seduction", "Deja Vu", "I Remember"....etc are all dope. But at the same time it would have sounded odd if he had rendered the hook to "LTWYL".

I would say it like this: You got Gaga, a project that does music that is certain to be popular. She does music for the masses. And you got Adele, the girl that does music for herself, music that is based on her life and she does it so good that people love her. They are both famous and big, Gaga because she does the things that need to be done (not denying her talent, she obviously has it), and Adele because she so good.

It`s just the same with Eminem. He was born to be great. And you have tons of other rappers that follow the well known recipe on how to be famous. Wayne, Fifty... They have the talent and all that, but they make the music the way people will like it. Em is rapping about killing his wife, himself, his mom, pills and aliens that rape lesbians. Fifty raps about cars, chicks and money.

is this long discussion of Gaga necessary though? Gaga is a marketers dream, she is the epitome of a marketing puppet some are just too blind to see. She too had dreams of becoming the star SHE wanted to be but her image didn't fit that. She was a average rich little new yorker (Despite popular believe her family is loaded and she lived a privileged life) party girl that was accepted into a prestigious musical school. Her image wasn't marketable enough, so they took her name and gave her a nickname Gaga, dyed her hair from brown to blonde, threw her in a room with Red One and crafted the perfect media package. She was initially a blues, Broadway singer but in the pop world we don't want that so they gave her the perfect image and being the starving artist she is she took it and ran with it. Her team, Interscope plays a large part in all her success. Without the image she wouldn't be as successful if were being honest. They crafted her, and altered her musical field into pure electro-pop. And clearly it's worked. No doubt in my mind she is talented but if i were to choose i would rather Stefani Germanotta to collab on a track with Eminem NOT Lady Gaga and what she's become. Anyways in my opinion her voice to Skylar's wouldn't even make a difference, they both have nice voices it's just the baggage and rep gaga carries that puts a bad taste in our mouth's. If she wasn't what she is, we wouldn't mind. It's just having her on this particular song would be useless and distasteful because the song loses some of its meaning :/.
