This and I'm still waiting to read about why Eminem's the greatest of all time.

Lol, wow. You're getting requests.
I'm gonna write an article on
Encore today. Then I'll do that article
There's a nice sort of... paradox quality to going right from his peak (
The Eminem Show) straight to his lowest point (
Encore) in a single album too. Then to go from that post, to why he's arguably the greatest... again, a nice back-and-forth element.
Then,
Relapse and
Recovery will both be fun to do. These aren't reviews of these albums too, I do share opinions on certain elements of the albums throughout the articles, as... that's only natural to come out but, I'm trying to more-so talk about each album period - as in, his life and surroundings and everything that came with the albums.
And there's a lot of interesting elements to discuss with
Relapse and
Recovery.
These are sort of nice, practice, before writing full-fledged album reviews too. As by the time I've analysed everything, each period, I should have a clearer feeling on each album. As the more you analyse and compare and think about things, the more you refine your own taste too.
When I do review each album, I'm going to listen to each album again as I do also. Just to be in that world as I'm critiquing it. Not to sound pompous, but I want to write the most in-depth (without being overly detailed of pedantic for the sake of appearance), honest and objective (as objective as I can be, looking at each album as a piece of work) reviews on each album possible.
I've read most reviews on all the albums, and there are a few good ones but none on any which I feel truly NAIL any one of them in every respect. There's always one too many speculations or truly personal inputs that sort of discount some aspects of the review...
There was a line about
The Eminem Show though that I thought was just brilliant and perfectly expressed a conclusion on it, which was... "His two first albums aired dirty laundry, then the world's most celebrated rapper examined life in the hall of mirrors he'd built for himself."
That metaphor of Em examining the house of mirrors he'd built for himself, that is brilliant in relation to analysing
The Eminem Show.
All this sounds a bit over-the-top and sad too I know lmao but, may as well make use (somehow, the best you can) of an obsessive admiration of something or someone, if you can. It's better than simply obsessing or admiring somebody but not using that for anything outwardly. So hopefully over time, I can make this blog and site a library of very honed opinion and information on Em.
