They might forget about Throw It Away and release another song that could save whatever hype is left for the album.

They should forget about it as should the fans. It's not just a coincidence that they performed My Life yesterday. But it's also true that it would be strange to perform a strip club joint before an award show. Anyway, I still don't get it what they were about to achieve with this club song. As others said very well, it's not as catchy to draw random listeners' attention and it's straight garbage to put it out for core fans. Lyrically it's average at best while My Life at least has the celebratory feeling and with the part of Cee Loo, there's something to sing along for the radio heads.

BUT if they want to save what's left of their reputation and credibility they MUST give something to core fans AND hope that it will generate a buzz that could also reach the masses. So there must be another single with hardcore lyricism and dope verses or they have to reveal that Eminem+Skylar Grey joint. Anything less than that, especially another dumbed down pop-ish radio attempt will kill all the hype.

And that mixtape would be an opportunity they really should take advantage of, some dope songs will give us back a lot of hope and excitement what was taken away by the repeated push backs and below-par singles.

Amen to that! I was searching for some confirmation because DJ Drama tweeted that he was going to BET awards and we all knew that Slaughterhouse was going to perform, but I couldn't find anything so far. Thanx for the link.

This got my hopes up again which could easily backfire after recent events related to the House Gang but I honestly think that the material of this mixtape would satisfy fans more than Welcome To: Our House. But if they really put the effort into the mixtape and will give us quality music I will feel obligated to support their album whenever they'll drop it.

So it's definitely a good move!
