The best thing about Relapse...

Is its hypnotizing beats. They sound so beautiful when you're just sitting there, a bit a high, drinking a whole bottle of Pepsi and eating some chicken.

Dre, you gotta love him. :flutter:

Relapse is one fantastic album.

I'd never admit it's Eminem's best.. or second best... or third best. But it's probably honestly my favorite Eminem album and I don't know why. I must really like him in the horrorcore field or something.

It's a great album, but not a great comeback album. Now that time has passed and it can be judged objectively I think most people should agree that it is a pretty great album.

Looking back on it, where the fuck did he pull Deja Vu from? Song is an absolute classic. 10/10.

3 am, My Mom, Same Song and Dance, Stay Wide Awake, Must Be The Ganja, Deja Vu, Beautiful along with Careful What You Wish For and My Darling are the only songs I still bump occasionally from the album + the bonus songs.

I think this is the case...

But yeah, I agree, those beats are killer. I love Relapse, and it's so much better when you're under the influence lol.

Yeah the beats are amazing; and fit Em's style there so well.

I wouldn't say the beats are ever the best element though, rapping mainly has to be the shit for me.

The beats are definitely amazing, however, I'd prefer a different subject matter or at least a normal delivery. Imagine if more songs sounded like Deja Vu, many of you love the album as it is but the potential was far greater.

His Flow with the beat blends so beautifully together that its so engrossing and hypnotizing.
And you know what is the BEST FEELING EVER- Listening to his Delivery and getting absorbed into the atmosphere of songs like 3 am, Same Song & Dance, Bagpipes from Baghdad, Stay Wide Awake, Must Be The Ganja, Deja Vu and you witness an enchanting other worldly experience.

" Better try to stay wide awake or you might be found dead by the lake
Soon as you lay me down to sleep bitch your soul I'm a try to take
Pray for light today right away why do they try to fight today
I must make them pay twice as much might as well put the knife away "

The delivery & flow is so clean, smooth and ravishingly scenic.

You only need one or a handful of songs like "Deja Vu", he sums up the experience and thoughts in that song better than the entirety of Recovery. Doing more is just, contrived.

Where as something like "Same Song & Dance", it has character and humour and it's a concept. I definitely prefer it how it is, was looking forward to RX2 for that reason, "Buffalo Bill" >

I have enough 'normal' delivery and introspective subject-matter from him for a life-time. But the style of "Medicine Ball" is unique, I'd love more exploration and experimentation in that vein.

I agree, the beats are fucking sick, but my favourite part of the album has to be his rhyme schemes and flow :flutter:

Like how everyone thinks 808's & Heartbreaks is gonna be... though, I still haven't caught on...

SSAD>*

Seriously, one of the best beats on the whole Album. People say "Hello" was boring; but it's not that bad, just a little slow.
[Rollefsen] - SajN retired, bitch got old, unlike Sams "ladies".
