Before I Self Destruct Is A Classic

Postby macdaddy019967 » Sep 27th, '12, 06:05

I just listened to the entire 50 cent, BISD album and I must say...
that album is a classic.

That album is better than anything I''ve heard since its release, besides Recovery.

Better than anything Rhyme Asylum has delivered and who is that irrelevant rapper in the GIF?

50 cent has delivered classic albums back to back

Street King Immortal will be the best thing since GRODT

BISD is top notch, name one rapper who has had a better album

somewhat decent, but far from classic.

after GRoDT, fiddy got complacent.

Maybe music can take us to a place so atmospheric

I agree with OP, but the 2 radio singles made it come up short for me when comparing it to GRODT...Btw, how is DerdyPK still not banned, all he do is instigate & posts irrelevant sentences plus gay gifs  :facepalm

I just re-listened to the whole album and if 50 cent wouldn't have been so confident in his interviews then he would of been as successful today as he was in 2003.

People started to dislike 50 cent because he got way too big way too quick

Shows how ignorant you are when clearly no music besides "New Day" has been released and that song is easily a classic

I agree about New Day. I used to think far more highly of BISD, but then, guess what, I listened to better albums.

People throw that word "Classic" around like a fuckin baseball these days. It was a good album, can't that be enough??

The real definition of a classic, to me at least, is an album that blows your mind and adds something new to the game. BISD is just a good east coast gangster rap album, its about basically the same exact things GRODT was about, there's nothing on there I haven't already heard before.

It was a good album but nobody will be looking back 10 years from now and saying "Before I Self Destruct made me want to rap and changed my life". Its not a classic

No not even close, I actually enjoyed a lot of songs on Massacre more.
Fuck top five, bitch, I'm top four
And that includes Biggie and Pac, whore
And I got an Evil Twin
So who the fuck do you think that third and that fourth spot's for?
