This is some footage of a concert I did a couple of weekends ago for a back to school party. Let me know what you guys think as far as stage presence goes. Thanks! :y:

You sound exactly the same on the stage as you do when you record. That's impressive. This was fun to watch. :y:

I don't mean to question your integrity, but I guess I have to... There's no way this was recorded with the camera that's recording you. Was it recorded through the soundboard from the mic? I'm assuming the mic is a PA type system though... I don't know, I've tried recording live performances and I know it costs a lot to record through the mic you're performing with.

Either way, good song. I still listen to a lot of Christian rap. Lecrae, Braille, etc. My only critique of your music is that you're using this southern accent that really isn't necessary. Be yourself bro. Use your own voice.. I know for a fact you don't walk around saying, "yo open da doe'" or "get on the flo'"....... You aren't black bro, and you're from South Dakota, if I'm correct? People will take you much more serious if you're yourself.

Thanks for the feedback guys! @Block, I say words like that when I rap in order to force them to rhyme. No, I don't walk around speaking like that, but many artists change up words in order for them to fit together. Also, I'm not using a southern accent (Am I)? I'm not sure, that's how my voice is when I rap so it is natural for me lol

Oh and for the recording, I'm not entirely sure if it the audio you are hearing is from the camera or the soundboard. The camera that they recorded it with is a $5,000 camera (the reason it isn't HD is because the mixer we use to switch channels cuts the HD out of it). Although, I can guarantee you that this IS the live audio; whether it was recorded through the camera or the soundboard. I do have a backing track on the ends of my lines so I can catch my breath if I need to (it's really easy to hear because my voice is off from the backing track a couple of times).

EDIT Oh, and on the chorus I obviously have back up vocals.

Haha, you're fucking awesome man.

You look really happy when you're on stage and I like that.
It's important that you enjoy yourself and just let go.

About the whole accent thing, yeah, you should be yourself, but, sometimes it's fun to make yourself sound different on the microphone so that you don't get sick of your voice.

Good performances; I've started to enter the live scene again now that my rapping has improved dramatically, so, I might put some videos up soon.

I'll be looking forward to your feed.

Peace.

The beggining of the beat is annoying >.< Lol then you made it work.
there were some obvious slip ups (Mis-aligned words), But it was an enjoyable song.
You didn't have that much stage presence, Just seemed like another performance.
I can't critique to much givin I have yet to perform. But It would be nice to see you have more involvement.
