It happens everytime... not even to just that last album before the new ones, the new one usually drags all of them up, back to hot 200. I was talking to Emady about how it's gonna be funny when Em is about to have like 8-10 albums in top 200 for a few weeks again.
Thanks Mikey!Shit is timeless so they're not even under pressure to drop new album... old ones keep adding to the cake.

Yeah it's crazy how much he keeps selling every week. He has made so much money for Interscope. I hope they really promote Em this time and his Shady Record artists

francesco wrote:Well Interscope were never great at promotion... I mean they've been ok back in he day but they've mostly depended on the charisma of their own artists first & then promotion & all the rest. That's why they've released so many great artists when they stop delivering what they need from them. (Busta, Obie, Lloyd Banks, etc.)
As of late though it' went from bad to worse... not that much for EM as for the rest of their artists but still overall they've been pretty awful at timing, planning, promotion & all that. I mean they've been ridiculously bad at it for the last 5-6 years or so!
I just hope 50 first, & then EM will have more than one big commercial record so both of them wouldn't really depend on Interscope... still I do think more of less Interscope will fuck up their albums again though.

They only focus on promoting their bigger artist who they think will sell.
Back in 2011, Lady Gaga had practically the biggest promo of the year and she's under Interscope.
If he wasn't a greedy, gold digging old timer he should have been embarrassed as fuck from this.

If they're accurate then such a bump in sales gotta be 'cuz of St.Valentines... or they could have been on sale 'cuz of it.
