So i'm at work, for sprint, a customer calls, it is there interperator CUZ THEY ARE FUCKING DEAF

what the holy god damn fuck is a deaf person doing with a mother fucking IPHONE 5?

the call took a full hour cuz the deaf bitch couldn't find the serial number for me to activate the phone

and guess what? my boss was fucking listening in on the call, THANK THAT MOTHER FUCKER IN THE SKY I DIDN'T GET IN TROUBLE

^ Yeah, those relay calls are awful.

I did inbound calls for Best Buy, and usually the relay calls were actually fraud. Foreign people that don't speak English will get on a relay call, and then use it to commit fraud in order to get a phone for free or a reduced price, and then sell the phone on Craigslist.

Well, relay calls are bad because the interpreter has to relay everything both ways. So, if they don't do it just right, that person won't understand what you're asking. You can't interrupt the interpreter either...usually, relay calls will take an hour and a half to process, bare minimum.

fuck today

Had a customer today, his sprint phone broke, so, he bought a different phone FROM A RANDOM STRANGER...and guess what, that random stranger was a crackhead, and didn't pay his own phone bill, so, the phone this guy bought was no good, the call went from normal to HULK ANGRY real quick, so, i tranfered the call to my supervisor....

and hour later, call comes in, a guy wants to make a call from a different phone, and have it billed to his account, i take his info and BOOM, same guy, and, what he called in to do is not possible, dare i even say no and have this call go absolutly crazy to? i asked for help in the chat pod, nobody responded, so, i transfered to a supervisor again, what else was i going to do? have this guy rip my head off twice in one hour for something that is out of my hands?

there's days when i want to log out and be done for the rest of the day, i get customers pissed at me cuz they gave their 12 year old a phone and their kid downloaded $50 in apps and expect me to take it off the bill, and i can't just hang up, so i sit there and get called every name in the book,

craziest call i had, somebody asked me to track gtheir phone, i can't, so instead, they tell me to shut the phone off cuz they left it at a murder scene, some lady snatched the phone (claiming to be his mom) and said to put the phone on restriction cuz he lost the phone, so now, since he already said he left it at a muirder scene i can't just ignore that, i have to transfer to a supervisor because that's basically a 911 call, and if i don't transfer, there's a chance my call is monitored by a boss, and then i'm in trouble for not doing it right,

Call center work sucks...they usually pay decent for what you're doing compared to the other jobs in the area, because the turnover rate is so high that they have to keep new employees flowing in all the time.
