I realize this is not really album news, but it's not a twitter mention or an Eminem photo. However, it's Eminem related so I didn't want to put it in Backstage. Plus, if he's at his studio, it could mean recording a song together.

Francesco, what you said about it being compromised sorta got me thinking...you know how Relapse was hardly compromised at all, and was one of the best selling albums of the year because it was the first we had heard from Em in such a long time...do you think the same mindset could be in place right now? Maybe Eminem won't compromise because he's starved the public to the point where they're begging to hear from Em (or will be, once some release dates are announced and people remember that Eminem is still alive), and they know that so he can put out something completely uncompromised and it'll still sell a ton of copies...I dunno whether that makes sense or whatever, what do you think?
Man, I just hope Em realized from Kendrick's success that something that is NOT compromised can still sell like a motherfucker.

I know what you're saying but unfortunately I think they'll compromise again. They were totally unhappy with Relapse & even re released it 'cuz of it... let alone they never released its second part. Plus the album wasn't compromised as a whole & was banging but CAB was a compromise right there & it was actually the thing that got it all going. The WMY hook was a big compromise as well not just 'cuz of the pop feel about it but 'cuz of the fact Em always did the hooks for his goofy singles prior to it too.

They kinda compromised Kendrick's album too comparing to his mixtapes but it wasn't that bad a compromise anyway.

I think it's gonna be a really good album 'cuz Em took his time & has been in a great state of mind for a long time now but I won't expect them to shy away from the radio friendly formula. It will be different than Recovery for sure but it won't be anything like Relapse or his first 2 albums in that matter.
Only the fact Em hits at old actors & shit but hasn't hit at a single rapper since he came back
speaks volumes of their direction.

I'm trying to figure out....since Dre said Eminem's is pretty much finishing up the album now, what, 3 weeks ago now?...would Em be still recording new songs for the album as of right now?

Guys, I think songs from the album have already leaked! However, Em called them and told them to take them off of Youtube, but they just took them off and renamed them as "BIG WEENIE & MY 1ST SINGLE MIX!!! (FEAT. SOULJA BOY)"....
