Royce ain't half the artist Yela is.

Back in the BME days, Royce was a better lyricist... or his themes and lines were at least more entertaining, and on-point as fuck...

Lately, he's corny as fuck. Almost every line falls flat, all humour is lame etc.

There isn't that much impressive about Royce to me. He can rap, but he doesn't have an identity, he just tries to be Em, especially lately, and fails at it.

Yela on the other hand, definitely has his own lane, sound and identity entirely. He fucked up with Radioactive but his best shit on his mixtapes >>>> Anything I've ever heard from Royce.

He's also a much better songwriter, hookwriter, performer (both live and vocally on track), has more range, versatility and is far, far more creative.

Yela's got that real dingy 'all time legend' vibe to him, he could go down as a great, not just in rap, but in music period. Royce on the other hand... only has the potential to go down as a great MC.

I realize this is not really album news, but it's not a twitter mention or an Eminem photo. However, it's Eminem related so I didn't want to put it in Backstage. Plus, if he's at his studio, it could mean recording a song together.

Why do you think it's Em's studio.

I think it's unreleastic to expect an album like Relapse because Relapse has sold what 5 million already and made them a lotta money it had a number 1 single it won a grammy. So was succesful commercially and financially but Em felt the music on there didn't stand the test of time and got played out after a few listens. So can't see him going backwards and doing somethin he already done. Creativity i think is important to him and making music which stands the test of time.

I can't see Yelawolf blowing up atleast not sellin platinum or releasing a classic album. When it's all said and done 50 Cent will go down as the best Artist Eminem has signed he has a classic under his belt with Get Rich Or Die Tryin. Outta all the Shady rappers 50 is the closest to Eminem as far as song writting even though he not quite on his level is the closest outta the Shady records artists. Yelawolf is better than Royce though
