I think the fact that there is very little news feature/production wise means it will be mostly in house stuff. A few people have mentioned it and I agree. I think we definitely would have heard more about the album if there were outside people involved.

I think with Recovery, he just wanted to quickly put a new album out. Obviously that's easier if his only focus is writing lyrics and not producing. But he's had 3 years to work on this one. I assume that's in part because he's doing more of the work himself. Getting back into producing his own stuff etc.

I'm thinking style wise, it's gonna be closer to Eminem Show than any of his other stuff.

Content wise, I have no idea. The drug/recovering from drug stuff was done for two albums. Surely he himself is probably tired of talking about that. But because he's such a recluse, he doesn't (from what we can tell) have much to write about in his personal life that has not already been covered.

Eminem Show covered his legal battles at that time, the relationship with his daughter, mom, and wife, etc.

He has no beef, no public legal battles or any kind of public drama for that matter. Plus the Kim stuff/Mom stuff is over.

I think the songs will be mostly him just going off, like in Cold Wind Blows, On Fire, etc, plus songs like Till I Collapse, Sing For The Moment, where the focus is on the industry, his place in the game, the current state of hip hop, etc.

Simly cah he's a great artist and miles and miles and much more miles ahead of any Dipset member and this coming from a big Dipset fan. And the fact they are just quality instrumentals that with the right lyrics, right delivery would just sound epic. They basically made for his Eminem Show style

For real though that dude in the video is hilarious... I've watched some of his other videos... That Lil Wayne sucks video is 2 funny.

The thing is a lot of black, latin people are put off by listening to Em because of how racist/ignorant even tho it's a minority overall some his fans like this can be the reason for this. The sterotype in our community has been some Em fans don't even listen to Hip Hop besides Em or rappers on his label.
