Not sure, but I read (on this forum?) that this is his last album on his contract with Interscope.

contracts can be renewed no big deal. i dont think jimmy will let go off Eminem any time soon.

If this is an instant classic then I wouldn't mind watching my all time favorite artist retire on top. I will miss him but it would be for the best.
