I will actually be surprised if we don't get something on Memorial Day. That's the date Paul said in the beginning. There has to be some reason he picked that day.

He worked on Relapse from 2008 to 2009. Some songs are older (Beautiful, Be Careful What You Wish For, My Darling) but they probably weren't even intended for Relapse.

I'd say 2008 to 2009.

Recovery.. It's a shorter span of time. He was in Hawaii in 2009, recorded 15 songs and kept the 3/4 last songs. Then he got back to Detroit and worked on it.

So Recovery is 2009 to 2010, but it was done faster than Relapse.

I think this album has been in the work for at least 1 year and a half, maybe even two.

Nah, I do agree that he's been recording solo stuff for the past year and a half but I don't think they were for anything in particular.
Sorta like a filler period where he tries to find his true self and stick to that theme...

Keep in mind he could have been producing too.
