Em is not the type to announce an album unless he's close to done or very sure.

He announced Relapse after the material was made. He announced Recovery after it was all done and dusted (sure we were expecting R2 but he kept the change in material under wraps)... and, he announched he would be releasing in 2013 with that cap, with a public statement from Paul in Feb and by booking shows in August... he's not the type to do all that unless he's pretty much ready to go.

Assuming the album is coming in July... we wouldn't be expecting any news 'til June any way. It's just because we've all known about it for a while know so keep WANTING news every week, but just because reality isn't aligned to our schedule doesn't mean it ain't coming soon.

All that being said, can't wait to hear it in 2016 yo.

Well all Em said was that he was working on it. For it to come out in time for the August shows is getting less likely as the weeks go by which means that probably the shows were booked more in hope than expectation.
