Kanye West - Monster

Perfect song on a perfect album. Love everything about it. That intro is incredible, the Rick Ross verse is alright, and most importantly, the beat goes hard! Really, one of my favorite beats. And something I never thought I'd say: Nicki's verse was a monster. Really goes well with the track. Jay was great too. One of my faves of My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy.

I think it's alright. He didn't make or break the song either way for me.

MBDTF really is perfect. Rick Ross' verse feels a little out of place, but seeing it's Rick Ross it could've been waaaaay worse..

It's an album that cops a lot of hate in this forum, but that just makes it even better to me lol

Didn't really notice that much hate...

@Trimss - Tough choice. All great songs but if I had to pick just one it would probably still be All Of The Lights. Followed closely by Lost In The World & Monster.

Interesting choice. I'd say Lost In The World and All of The Lights are my least favorite songs on the album.

Also, spread the word about this section. Not enough people are posting here :y:

I really think all of the songs on the album are great, but I just love great, not-ordinary beats. I also think the piano/horns in All of The Lights are really perfect. Rihanna's hook is excellent and I think the track really shows why Kanye is different from the other music nowadays.

About Lost In The World... I loved it since the first listen. There's something about the drums & auto-tune that makes it addictive. Again, doesn't follow the song structure of the usual rap crap and that's a huuuge plus. Like with most of MBDTF those back vocals are incredible.

I don't particularly love the idea of posse cuts but this one is executed extremely well, love Vernon on this. Nothing wrong with Ross on it either. I do think Nicki's verse is overrated though.

My favourites are DIAND and Runaway.
