I really really like the production on Berzerk. Other rockish beats he hops on are usually trash except his own beats. But this and Survival have great beats, at least to me. The Berzerk one is the better one out of the two.

Me too, I actually don't think it's THAT loud. It is a bit louder than I'd like, but I think it's an improvement. I'm hoping it's the noisiest beat on the album though (just like TRSS was the noisiest on MMLP).

Really? TRSS never came off as noisy to me at all. I'd say Kim was the noisiest on MMLP. As for Survival vs Berzerk, Berzerk wins hands down imo. Yeah it has a rock based beat (and I do wish he'd quit with the anthem/stadium rock sound), but compared to other rockfish songs like Survival or WBD, it seems more natural and less forced. Survival came off as corny to me. Berzerk, on the other hand, reminds me of Fight Music for some reason. Certainly not lyrically, just sound-wise.

I was just playing, guys. lol.

Kind of like last night when I was playing solitaire on my living room floor.

Except online... without cards... on my bathroom floor as opposed to my living room floor... interactively... & with an inferno of opinion crushing text fueled by the incorrect opinions of others.

I would have went out last night instead... but whenever I do that people call me things like ''Gay''... and ''Kill yourself you fucking registered sex offender. No little boys here for you.''

It usually causes me to feel enraged and then I end up drinking tequila & bourbon and beating the shit out of my cat.

Solo-voluntary-solitary-solitaire is my calling here.

Thinks toe jam line is wack, likes Rain Man, okay.

I like Berzerk too, but it has whack lines. Neither song is anything to write mother about, Berzerk is probably better though. Rain Man beat is really dope though.

"Thats's great if you can write hook"

"I'm into the technical aspect. Wordplay, riding the beat. Flow.Punchlines, delivery"

He always says stuff like this. Don't know where that mindset has been, saying the hook is the only good part of this song.

But that mindset is there, so I think he will deliver on this album

Hooks play a major part in a song/artist's career. Whether it's amongst Hip-Hop heads or casual listeners, sometimes hooks can make or break the listener's attention.

Yeah...but in the interview, he was kind of brushing the hook off, making the point that the verse is the critical part of hip hop. I was just saying I hope that's the case with this album(which I think it will be) even though the first single suggests otherwise.

The thing is, nobody would be complaining if Em just hadn't called his album MMLP2.

Agreed. I think Survival is a good song with great rapping, and Berzerk is great song with good rapping. Each one of them was made with a purpose. It's not fucking 2000 anymore, Eminem doesn't have THAT social impact that he used to have. People grow up, society changes.

I'm just glad that he returned to a style that it's really HIM. In Recovery era I really think he had a forced attitude, a serious attitude that was not supposed to be here. Just watch the Relapse-era interviews and shit. Recovery isn't the Eminem we know.

Berzerk is. Take that in consideration.

Eminembase, i agrre with you sort of.
I am also worried sick that this will not live upp to the MMLP but you know what? We are supposed to be worried cuz we are stans. And only Eminem knows what he got eight now. And if there is something i cam be sure about its that Eminem REALLY cares about his legasy, i really doubt that he is just gonna make a misstake this big.

I mean this is a well thought of plan, not hey lets call it mmlp2 why not?
Thats why this time its reaaly hard to wait for the next single or the album t be relaesed!

But i do understand you, Its like playing roullete with all you belongings and betting on red or black, FUCK!
