learning to make a beat

not sure if right thread

i started learning to make beats and whenever i change pitch or dunno what mostly on piano i think, there always comes an echo which continues for a while even after i stop the beat, anyone know what to do? (i just marked one square and the echo stays forever)

Just double click the pause/stop button at the top. It should cut it out.

If you're using FL STUDIO 10 and the FL KEYS that comes with it, change these two knobs by turning them all the way down:

If you are using something from the BROWSER (the gray bar on the side of the screen) then go into INS > VOL > Press the little square next to TIME and turn the ATT (attack) knob all the way to the left:

This gets rid of the "echo" and instead has the sound go on for a second.
