No, I genuinely enjoy his new shit and so does a lot of people. You can not like it, that's fine, but no substance? There is a whole lot of substance. I don't give a shit if it's "same old", isn't that what you people want anyway? Old Em? Survival is really good, put a different hook on it and it wouldn't get much hate.

Sit down, read the lyrics, and tell me that there is no substance. Fucking wrong. And replay value, I play this song every day lol.

A lot of Eminem fans on here dislike Recovery(more than on general Hip-Hop sites), and I'm sure most of them dislike Encore. It doesn't really make sense to play the "Y'all think everything Em drops is awesome" card. We like more of Eminem's songs than casual Eminem fans do, but that's the way fandom is for every artist. I get tired of the "Eminem fans blindly worship him/stan" meme, like hardcore Jay-Z fans don't overrate Black Album or BP2.

Anyways, I like both songs. I don't think Survival fits the vibe of a major album song, though. It sounds like a B-song, the stuff you put on singles(back in the day) or on bonus discs. Like Stimulate.

I'm not saying it's not that level of quality, just saying it was a song that was a b-side track on one of the Eminem Show's singles(I think) and then a bonus song on the 8 mile OST. Just making a point that artists make lots of dope songs they leave off albums for whatever reason.
