I know that was aimed at me lol

I appreciate what you wrote. Look I'm not a guy that is writing a whole album off. I've listened to many projects throughout my life, and even outside of hiphop, and never have I judged an album by it's tracklist. I know Em will deliver and so will the hooks, probably. But at the same time, when I look at the confirmed producers, feature guests and so on, I start asking myself, would I feel better if I'd knew that Em was producing ? Would I feel better if there were only Rap features ? Nobody knows what's happening, and the project could be great, we just have to trust him, I guess. But at the same time, I can't trust him. This sounds strange I know. While Em has made great decisions throughout his career, I've started to question a lot of his decision post Relapse. My gripe is not so much that we actually have pop artists featured on the tracks, the fact that Em isn't on one of these hooks bugs me. I know that we haven't heard the tracks, and that the hooks could be great but at the same time, I'm asking myself how the songs would be if he did the hook. And I know I would be asking this myself even before he drops the album and afterwards.

He had so many misses in the last couple of years that I'm really starting to question some of his decisions. At the end, we will all probably appreciate the hooks, but at the same time, and I know that the majority of you will agree on this, is going to ask themselves how the hooks would sound with Em on there or how the production would be with just Em handeling it.

By no means am I writing this album off, but Em's trackrecord with female hooks hasn't always been the best.

But I could be haiting on it just because he named it MMLP2

I respect it. Em always has the best song when he does his hooks, especially post relapse. Thats my grip with Survivor and love Berzerk

Why is Non-Em hooks such a big deal? Worry about the music, obviously he felt the need to get hooks and choruses from other people cause either he couldn't do many of his own, it came with the beat, or felt the singer would heighten the song even more than it already could be. You guys are ruining everything for yourself lmfao. Lord Jesus, yesterday everyone was like "SURVIVAL NOOOOO! :'( " Now today everyone's like "FEMALE SINGERS NOOOOOO! :'( " The songs could very well be classic-worthy and y'all are having a bitch-fit cause Em's not crooning all his hooks. :facepalm I would much rather a professional singer doing a hook than Em writing a poverty hook that he forced out and y'all blast the dude to kingdom come.

No, now it's the production everyone is on about, which we haven't even gotten a list for... :shakehead:

Everyone has gotten over the features.

Everyone hates on You're Never Over's hook. Would it have been better sung by someone who could sing?

Honestly, no, because the beat is still atrocious.

I'm starting to think people love doing this, and it's not out of fear. If the production on MMLP2 is cohesive, who cares? GKMC had tons of different producers and look how it came out. S1 is a great producer. Develop isn't gonna give Em a Blunt Blowin' beat lmao. And since Rick Rubin's overseeing the project, I highly doubt we're getting over-produced beats here. These guys are ruining the experience for themselves and the album isn't even out yet lmao.
