To readdress the "songs might suck because no Em hook" or "it might be a good song but it would be better with an Em hook"...

I don't ever think/wish Em would have replaced those hooks on those songs. These songs are very good in my opinion and didn't need an Em hook to be so. Not to mention the fact that none of them sound even remotely radio/pop. These are hard rap songs. People are acting like the instant someone else does a hook for him that it's going to be LTWYL or Lighters.

The notion that we are getting a Recovery 2 is contorting your ideas of what the songs will be. Some of you take the mindstate of: Recovery song+outside hook=LTWYL or Space Bound.

Yeah. On *Recovery* the formula may have been likely to conclude that way. But Recovery is not the variable in the equation any more. The new situation we now have to address is:

MMLP2+outside hook=_______

We don't know what that is yet or the potential it could have. But who's to say those hooks/song won't end up like Above The Law (or something to that effect)? There's no need to instantly assume that just because it isn't Em on it it's going to be a friendly song or that it won't have a MMLP "style" to them. Should we have looked at Echo, Above The Law and Fast Lane and said "Yo there were't any female/outside hooks on the original BME stuff. Guaranteed flop/pop (whatever your assumption based insult may be)"
