A lot of thoughts I'm hearing around the net are that Survival is good but the hook sucks. Survival has a lot of views on YouTube in a short amount of time, does it have more than Berzerk had at this point in it's release? Do you think Survival will ultimately be more popular than Berzerk? It is a bit more mainstream + the collab with COD.

I like both songs but neither of them are amazing imo. I love the FEEL of Berzerk as it feels different and very much like an Eminem record and I LOVE LOVE the hook but the verses are just okay to me. I like it for what it is tho, it is what it is and I don't think it was meant to be brilliant or anything, just a fun, catchy throwback song. I can dig Survival too but with a little more work it could have been really good, I agree with most that the hook is really weak. Ultimately I'm willing to bet these 2 songs will fair better with the rest of the album surrounding them and people will grow to appreciate them a bit more after we have the whole album, right now both songs are all people are focusing on and therefore they are subjected to extreme scrutiny.

Having said all this I'm still looking forward to this album with realistic expectations, I don't expect it to be a classic or FUCKING AMAZING or to top the original MMLP but I am hopeful it will be his best release since his comeback.

It's really amazing how little has been revealed about the album, I guess they are really trying to let the album hit all at once and just speak for itself. There's still time for interviews and stuff I guess but at this point I just don't think much is going to be revealed until after the release.

We saw him introduce his evil twin, the monster we know as Slim Shady and it has been a love game ever since. His influence on me became stronger than i was expecting. We watched him put his name in headlights using rhyme or reason fighting for his survival in this berzerk game because he wanted a life so much better than he had. With MMLP2 he will confirm his legacy as a rap god.
