The best way I can describe it is to explain it in a different context.

"That shirt is hella cool"

Hella is, basically, "very" or "really" in this sentence. So he kind of used the word wrong in that line. "I found a really way to fuse it" makes zero sense.

EDIT: I think the word is stupid, to be honest.
