seems like some ppls still didnt get it. Album is released on 1st in some countries, so thats the date we have to look at regarding when the album is shipped and stuff. 5th is irrelevant.
I guess theyll ship it to the stores only a couple of days before the 1st, maybe beginning of the next week.
When they start shipping thats the moment it will leak for sure, because thats when the amount of ppl who technically have their hands on the album changes from a couple to a couple of thousands, thats when the leak will happen inevitable. Knowing this, i guess labels will delay the shipping as long as possible nowadays, at least for big artists. Dont think they ship more than a week before release, so i guess leak will be happening not before friday.... rather beginning of next week.

That's not true at all. Interscope doesn't ship directly to stores, they ship to warehouses which in turn ships to the stores. That's all happening this week regardless if it's dropping the 1st or the 5th wherever.

And they don't delay the process much because it's a priority for them to give the warehouses enough time to get it into the stores and ready to be on shelves on release date. They rather not take the chance in delaying it and something goes wrong and a few stores don't have it on the release date. They need it on as many shelves as possible, which is more important to them than a leak, which they know will happen anyway. This is why albums generally leak 10-14 days early a lot of the time.

Every label does things slightly different, and the buzz for Em is higher than that of those artists. Just look at the history of when his albums have leaked. Yeezus is also a different case because of how it was handled.

That would never happen. Once it's in the actual stores, it's almost guaranteed to leak. There's a great chance this week for sure, but next week if it hasn't leaked yet, I cannot see it not leaking by next Tuesday.

There are ways to prevent a leak, digital release comes to mind, but they aren't doing that.
