By my logic:

If you're going to imply a theme, mindset and attitude with a 'sequel' / sister album to an album absolutely, iconically defined by those things and imply it through symbolism (the fingers, his t, the dog tags) and by saying in your own words "revisiting the themes" and 'the nostalgia'... then surely stick to that or at least don't do the total opposite and what you did on your last album which is nothing like it... or why again imply all of that and even call it what you call it?

The middle fingers are symbolic to that attitude, just like the hair and the dog tags / implying he's in that mindstate again, hence making such a visual thing of it on his website.

By my logic - if you're Eminem and you call your album MMLP2, intentionally dress as you did 13 years ago and say you are revisiting the themes... I expect... MMLP2. Call me crazy 'n all!
