With the deluxe tracks, it definitely has the potential to be considered a classic. I don't remember feeling the same way when Relapse and Recovery dropped. I loved Relapse but I never thought of it as a classic and was indifferent towards Recovery which I now don't like very much. But with MMLP2, something FEELS different, it's unique and has the old school Em feel we all love.

It will be for sure... still to fresh to be that though. You know how it goes... Off the charts... Classic.

i can honestly see me feeling the same later on down the line, as long as i dont overplay it that is.

i had to force myself to like relapse tbh, coz it didnt have that em feel on it, which he acknowledged himself, i did stan over recovery at first coz he put some deep and personal shit on there, overtime though, cracks started appearing on it..

but like you said with this album, his old classic Personality is stamped all over this.
it took a while for that to seep in for me, the tracks were dope from the offset, but the classic feel hit me on the last few. listens.. the album stays fresh for me because it's so diverse yet cohesive.. this will stand the test of time imo

Look MMLP2 was good, but I hope Em actually falls off in sales enough in order to inspire him to make music that's not watered down. Remember the old days? Let me show you this old interview on MTV and listen to how brutally honest Em was...

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2HLWPqqeojM

I'm not just trying to annoy people here, I mean what I say. Even people on the youtube link are talking about how Em is more soft now. So it's not like I'm the only one in the world. And again, MMLP2 was pretty good, but I want something more simple, more simple beats, but more aggressive lyrics. Screw 2013, the world needs the asshole back again.

MMLP2 isn't watered down one bit, what the hell are you smoking? His lyrics are pretty aggressive, half the album are simple Eminem beats.

Em more soft now? Are you people fucking serious? He is just as vicious on the mic as he was back then. Quit lying to yourself just because the music doesn't tickle your fancy...psh listen to his lyrics kid. And you want aggressive lyrics but your favorite MMLP2 song is BEAUTIFUL PAIN? You are a walking contradiction.

No, it's hopeless, I'm the denial that you're hopelessly in. When they say all of this is approaching its end. But you refuse to believe that it's over, here we go all over again.

Wish Don't Front was on the album.

I lost the MMLP vibe during So Much Better and Stronger Than I was, cuz it felt like listening to Drips and Hailies Song. I mean that what makes the album great and cohesive, but after the first 2 tracks and the Skit, SMB and Survival kinda throws you off a bit.

Do you remember the days Eminem would rap about sticking it to J Lo and have sex with her even if she was his mother?

Or when he would say that the Backstreet Boys r sissy music?

Remember that line on I'm Back when he said, ''Dam right slim anus.''

You forget that Eminem grew up, it's absolutely normal that he's softer. When he was 25-30, he was young and angry, and especially in the media. I don't know why you don't understand that, damn he's 41, he can't act like an angry young adult forever. And to be honest, many of his recent songs are still aggressive. It's a good thing he calmed down for me. It proves that he's more mature.

And moreover, I hate when people say "I prefered Eminem when he was a drug addict".
This sentence pisses me off, like really. I read this several times on the Internet.

Well, the way I see it is if you in hip hop you gotta go all the way. So wut if he's older. Is an action hero supposed to go softer in action movies? Eminem is an actor in a way, in his rap. So he needs to put on that angry act again and get a rise out of people. He can be mature, but in his rap he is supposed to grow down. Yo.

This album is gonna be always mentioned when people talk about 2013 Hip-Hop albums... it is easily the benchmark IMO. Both discs are absolutely solid all the way so it'd be a classic in general no matter if people overplay it & all that.
