Em had a 73% drop, so he's doing just as good. The thing is, rap acts haven't been doing great in the last couple of years partly because people started to get bored of the same ol' uninspired shit (Wayne's C4, Jay's MCHG, Ye's Yeezus and Drake's NWTS).
Kendrick Lamar had a HUGE buzz when he came out yet his album only sold like 1.1m copies to date.
For Em to survive in this climate is just amazing to me. 14 years in the game and he can still go platinum in 2 weeks? That's more than enough for me tbh
