You really compare these album to classics like Illmatic, Ready to Die, Reasonable Doubt, All Eyes On Me, Enter the 36 Chambers, Aquemini, The Marshall Mathers LP, The Chronic, Doggystyle, The Slim Shady LP, ATLienz,Me Against the World, Life After Death, Only Built 4 Cuban Linx, Straight Outta Compton, It Takes a Nation of Millions to Hold us Back, The Diary, Supreme Clientele, Capital Punishment, Follow the Leader, Paid in Full, Stankonia, The Blueprint, Get Rich or Die Tryin, The Black Album, the Eminem Show, Liquid Swords?

it’s quite natural that new hiphop listeners might enjoy recent "classics" more than these old albums that they call dust. For better or worse, Hip hop isn't the exact same culture as it was 15 years ago and the music isn't the same either.
if an album like ready to die was released today, I'd call it mediocre at best but I still consider it as a classic because it influenced a lot of east coast rappers. Tupac albums are some of my favorite albums of all time but most of them contain a lot of fillers
All Eyez On Me was a double album, so it was bound to have some filler.... but rap albums tend to be longer when you go that far back.... Ready to Die - 17 tracks, Doggystyle - 19 tracks, The Chronic - 16 tracks, Cuban Linx - 18 tracks, etc..
Compared to Be, GKMC, and MBDTF... which are 11, 12, and 13
