Just like Eminem said, this time, he only cares about putting out the music. He doesn't want to perform a lot, he doesn't like interviews, he just wanted to release the album with a few interviews the week it was released and that's it.

That's what happened. But I'm cool with that I guess

With how bad record sales are these days, barely anybody will make an album that goes diamond, maybe nobody. I think they should lower the amount of sales needed to reach diamond, platinum, etc. just because nowadays it is practically impossible for an album to achieve the high number of sales that it would have had it been released 10 years ago or longer.

But now, they moved on to Slaughterhouse real quick, their album is most likely coming this Feb and Yelawolf's will come right after that. Em just doesn't care anymore, he would rather have the fans that love his music buy it than gaining bandwagon fans that will abandon him when he makes something they don't like.


I agree & it's kind weird people keep doing it 'cuz we already made a lotta valid points about this & many other factors in this thread.
Numbers are great & I don't get why people still doubt that... it's already the second best selling album of the year & all Hip-hop albums are behind it. The ones from 2012 too & if I'm not mistaken even the ones from 2011.
Dude fucking delivered... he got a plat plaque & 4 outta 4 plaques for his singles in 2 months! Nobody can deny that.
