If I said "Headlights would have made a more emotional impact if it was Elton John doing the chorus," does it ruin the song for you?

Imagine? Given their history. The Stan performance. The homosexual controversy. To have him on the chorus would have been so sick. Love the song but can't help thinking what it would have been like had Elton done it.

Don't you think it would of been a bit gimmicky and obvious, to stick him on the chorus? (note,i'm well aware of Rhianna on Monster, but that was supposed to be a gimmicky track).. Nate Ruess was perfect imo, his vocals are awesome plus he's an homosexual, so thats one tick

True. Just think it would have really drove home the nostalgic feel of the album. Blonde hair. Controversial lyrics. Elton John feature? Would have felt like 2000 again.

Yeah i see what you're saying but i feel this would go against him more than it would work for him. Maybe if he released a special remix of him on the chorus, that would be nice..

I've never had a good set of headphones until late this year, and it makes every album sound infinitely better. Songs like Wicked Ways and Groundhog Day really bump.

I know everyone brings up "Groundhog Day" every couple of days so I figured I'd do the honors this time.

Not gonna lie I like "Groundhog Day" more than like 80% of his prime shit.

Everything about this song is just fucking GOAT, the rhyming, the flow, the wordplay, that fucking beat, his voice is badass as fuck, the little samples instead of a chorus, and then Em's GOAT fuckin little sing-song outro "...it's like a groundhog's day"

Once he starts on that "Promising complete dominance" shit, there's no stopping him.
