1. 13 Years Ago/Then And Now (Skit) [starts off with Stan driving off the bridge, it then cuts to Matthew getting a knife and cocking a gun, while mumbling negative things about Em. At the same time you can hear Criminal playing in the background.]

2. Bad Guy

3. Parking Lot (Skit)

4. Rhyme Or Reason

5. So Much Better

6. The Last 3 Years (Skit) [You hear a series of voice clips basically of fans saying that he fell off and that he's not relevant anymore, saying that he's wrecking his legacy and that he should retire. You then hear a voice (Em) sigh, then you hear foot steps, then a door slamming.

7.Survival

8. Legacy

9. Asshole (feat. Skylar Grey)

10. Berzerk

11. Rap God

12. Brainless

13. Stronger Than I Was

14. Confessions (Skit) [This skit features Em and Rihanna. Basically, a door opens and Rihanna asks him how he's doing and asks if he brought the tape (the VHS tape in the video) and he says yes and that it'll feel really good to get some things off his chest.

15. The Monster (feat. Rihanna)

16. So Far

17. Love Game (feat. Kendrick Lamar)

18. A Message (Skit) [You hear a pencil writing on paper, then you hear Royce walk in and say "So, you gonna write her that some you were telling me about?" Em replies with a yes, and continues to write, the audio fades into the next song]

19. Headlights (feat. Nate Ruess)

20. Evil Twin

This would be great

I wonder why Recovery and MMLP 2 were both low on skits...

MMLP 2 I don't really have any complaints as far as skits because I felt that the one skit it has was perfect and all the songs for the most part were dope. Recovery however I felt could have been a lot better with skits. 1) Skits on Recovery would have eliminated a few filler songs and 2) Skits would have made Recovery more light and funny and not so serious/opposite of a Slim Shady vibe.

Ultimately the music on the album determines how necessary skits are. If Em had some dope af tracks on an album, then whether there are skits or not, it doesn't matter as much. It's when the music is subpar when skits become more important. But then again it also depends on how good the skits are. A lot of people didn't like Encore skits but I was fine with them. Sorry if I'm rambling, just something I thought of while reading through the skit ideas on this page.

Skits would've made Recovery SO much better.

He may of just got bored with having the same album format all the time. We all know how much he likes to keep things fresh and different.

Relapse sounds pretty dope right now to me. Actually all of his albums sound pretty damn good as I'm revisiting them. The man has never put out a bad album imo.

Even though it was a trend for him for a long time it was the right time for him to change that in a way at some point... exactly esp. 'cuz he's that one artist who was always looking for different angles throughout his career & made all of his albums more or less different to one another in my ways.

The flow, the storytelling, the throwback references, the rhyming. And that intro + bridge is GOAT. Oh yeah, AND the Beasties reference in the chorus.

I wouldn't mind if this was the kind of direction he was headed in, just great, comedic storytelling that gives insight into his current perspectives on the modern world.

Yeah, it felt / feels very fresh.

If there is genuine similarity between the content of some MMLP2 songs and MMLP then it's how he blends comical self-analysis with semi-autobiographical fantasy...

He always kind of does that, but on MMLP, that balance is really kind of evenly split, and it feels like he hit that bullseye with Rhyme or Reason and So Far in particular.

That could definitely be a direction to go, it's where some of his best work comes from, it's highly entertaining and he's often very inventive in this zone... as apposed to the drab, soulless pretentious soul-bearing of totally transparent documentation aka boring ass face-value introspection, which so many shit fans love.

Rhyme or Reason is genius.
Q. What did Eminem say to 50 when he caught him wearing a sweater?
A. GEE YOU KNITT??

I ain't no fucking G, I'm a cannibal
I ain't tryin to shoot you, I'm tryin to chop you into pieces and eat you
Wrap you in rope and plastic, stab you with broken glass
And have you with open gashes strapped to a soakin mattress
Coke and acid, black magic, cloaks and daggers
Fuck the planet, 'til it spins on a broken axis

Great track, love the lyrics on that one, first time i listened to it wasn't feeling the beat, but now it's probably one of my favourite tracks on the album :worship:

I wanted to have a Steve Berman skit where he puts MMLP2 on his desk and did what Steve had done to him (tell him what to do)

I wish Em released a lot more material from that period of time eventually 'cuz it'd suck if material like that gets locked for good. Now is the right time for everybody affiliated to him to push the hardest for a verse.
