And the raven, never flitting, still is sitting, still is sitting
On the pallid bust of Pallas just above my chamber door;
And his eyes have all the seeming of a demon's that is dreaming,
And the lamp-light o'er him streaming throws his shadow on the floor;
And my soul from out that shadow that lies floating on the floor
Shall be lifted - nevermore!

I'm not a fan of fantasy but I've heard it's good. :y:

btw why this Fifty Shades of Grey book is so popular over here? I swear I've seen like 50 girls reading this shit on the bus. I HAD TO read it to write a review. Horrible writing and this 'plot'... lol.

ummm... I had the three books... I think to appreciate Dostoyevsky you have to read stuff like this. Apart from that well, interesting descriptions (ehem...) and a guy who happens to be rich, gorgeous, traumatised and only her can save him...

Don't know if you know it's a Twilight fanfiction for more adult readers.

Seriously, sometimes it gets so bad that I was laughing like crazy while reading it. But it's entertaining. The erotic version of The Da Vinci Code (that bad it is...)

haha, sameee here.
Twilight fanfiction for adults is a nice description. But seriously I was like 'What the fuck am I reading?'

but Fiodor Dostojewski is another story. The Idiot, Cime and Punishment. :worship:

Oh yeah, I had to read almost all his books on my studies, but I appreciate it now. :y:
Phenomenal. He's a master of words :worship:

There is also a movie from 1988 Les Possédés, based on this novel. Andrzej Wajda is a director, pretty good.
