(Lyrics)
I’m not the same kid you thought you knew
My brain switched as a product of my falling tunes
Every record had a purpose but the perp was never
Settled, for the record if it was then I’d be caught with you
I view my music as a learning curve
I blurted words and felt that I was too mature for her
But surely virgins of this moody music do these stupid
Foolish things and only few of you could view the future
So I choose to see a reason for hope, when I needed you most
That was only me in need of needing me to be old
For the wisdom that you gain is only mental as you age
You see the picture; it gets bigger and begins to split the framework
Right in half, and so in light of that
I recognize I better try and get behind my past
I apologize for acting stupid, I was only doing music as I acted through it
But that was foolish, I could’ve took the easier route
And ask you fully if you knew what I was heated about
Fuck it, another reason I should make amends
Cause you were not the only reason I was angry then
Fuel within, spreading fast as another summer past
Come to facts with the thought that I would lose my friends
We’re moving in a separate path and if it’s destined we’ll be back
But we’ll never live the past like we used to live
That thought was scary so I moved away
And fought my bearings as I wandered to a newer place
Viewing faces unfamiliar, to this day I still remember
How it pained me to be here and how I waited with this feeling
That I’d never make it, now I’m celebrating
Cause by the time I make it home I’ll be forever changing
But that’s a part of life --, and now I know this talent only is a part of why
I’ve grown in ways I’d never guess, hoping when I let it rest
My regrets will only mark how I used my art to hide
You'd be surprised...

Never heard you before, I like your voice.

Flow is absolutely sick. Love the breaks at some spots, really makes some of the lines hit harder. Rhyming is done well too.

Overall 8/10, scored down because I'm selfish and wanted it to be longer. Dope track.

Yeah, if I have to give a score, I'd give an eight or nine. Loving the flow. I'm still practicing with my recording but you definitely gave me something to strive for.

Damn, I love this. The lyrics are sick and flow is awesome. I especially like the line "I apologize for acting stupid, I was only doing music as I acted through it." Your delivery took me a couple listens to get used to, but I really like it now, and it especially complements the instrumental. Nice job man :y:

Not much to complain about here, Few rusty parts and a few parts i couldn't fully hear the last word you said, it was like smudged in there, but that could just be your style of rapping as well. The verse and how it ended was awkward but so was the beat because it was more of a cypher beat it didn't have a chorus spot and if it did i couldn't hear it and you didn't put 3 verses and 3 hooks cuz there was no room and it ended awkwardly, try using some beats that either already have the hook in them or create your own it would be much better that way, people tend to react to that more, and i liked the concept and you seem like a realist in a sense you weren't just trying to rhyme words you had a story in the song. Hit me up on facebook tho man, ill show you to my music and maybe we can collab in the future. Always good to network.
