i read this article after my 2 stints at his new york leg of his tour. i was appalled. someone commented on this article in the online version saying rihanna has not had a solo #1 single since 2011.....

yeah she was on ltwyl but the single before that eminem became only the 16th artist to ever have a song debut at #1...so what did she have to do with that?

eminem is that big. In his prime now in terms of fans?...not even close. but i was at both shows in new york. a kid who couldnt have been older than 20 came from fucking miami to see him. there was only one fan i know of who exclusively came to see rihanna. i saw not one person in the 8 hours i stood in line the first day (the second day we tailgated and i got pretty drunk) wearing any of the rihanna only merchandise items. i saw only people wearing the em shirts, hats or bandannas.

I heard not one chant either of the days for rihanna, i only heard em chants. this article to me is bogus. being at the front floor section of both shows, I can honestly say eminem doesn't need anyone to sell out shows. i understand having her on the ltwyl and monster hook added to their individual singles success, but eminem needing rihanna...fuck that shit

But he makes pop music. Songs like The Monster are as pop as they come.

Lol. So let's just pretend that the lyrics to LTWYL weren't monumental on their own. The sexy hook is what made it so huge, not Rihanna. And in fact, LTWYL was actually one of the things that took Rih's career to the next level!

No. Just No
Lose yourself in this music, this moment we own it

Lol
I've made beats for Jay-Z for free
Page me, you need a beat, you Canibus?
Then it's Dre's fee, if you Kay Slay, the fees waved
I stay beefing with JD, 'til the day Dre 2-ways me
