Green Day- American Idiot

Postby TheBoss123 » Aug 22nd, '14, 06:32

One of the first albums of music I listened too in full. I absolutely love this album, they're definitely one of my favorite bands of all time.

Probably a pretty typical opinion, but boulevard of broken dreams is one of my favorite songs by them. I saw them live a couple years or so after the album came out, and that was the encore song. It was incredible.

What do you yall think of them, and this album?

All you can do it handle it, worst thing you can do is panic
Use it to your advantage, avoid insanity manage
To conquer, every obstacle, make impossible possible
Even when winning illogical, losing is still far from optional.." -T.I.

What I love about this album is how consistent it is throughout, not just lyric and story wise, but as a composition. I think of Jesus of Suburbia as one of the best tracks I've ever heard, it's just amazing, with my favorite part being ''Tales from Another Broken Home''.

Easily my favorite Green Day album.

yeah I largely agree with this. Every song just felt so on point, I have my favorites, but damn they did such a good job with this.

I believe this is the first album every purchased for me in full as a gift.
