Singin' "Bagpipes from Baghdad" again
In my dad's drag draggin' a faggot in a Glad bag
Won't be the last time I make a dramatic entrance like that again
You thought I was lyin' when I said I think that I'm crossin' the line again
I've lost my mind, caution oh God I think I've just thought of another fucking line
Forgive me father, for I have sinned
But hip hop has left me brainwashed with a violent streak

So, I did promise you I'd listen to this Eedee, and I also feel like it's fairest if I give it an objective review and point out some of what I saw as flaws, and also what I liked.

I certainly felt like it was an improvement from what I've heard from you before. I liked the production on pretty much everything, so that was really nice. The overall sound worked for you I thought, and it was pretty cohesive which I thought was nice. There were some really nice high points as far as production.

There were a few beats I didn't really care for because they felt way too empty. Nothing Changes, Quicksand, and Waves were a few examples of beats that I did not particularly enjoy. It's not like they're bad, they're just pretty bland and didn't really add to the song.

As for your rapping itself, it was nice to get some different subject matter. I think I've said before that you needed to step out of your comfort zone a little bit, and I think you definitely did at times on this tape. Your delivery itself sounded tighter than it usually does, and I thought your writing was really nice on a good chunk (to the majority) of the songs.

Although, there were times when it felt like multiple songs were about the same thing, and your delivery felt almost too similar throughout the whole thing. There's this one thing you do sometimes where you raise your voice on the last few syllables of every bar, and it really breaks the bars apart rather than making them sound cohesive. It's kind of hard to explain what I mean, but I noticed you didn't do it as often on this album as you usually do. So it's still there, but I think you've broken away from it a little bit. There were also times where I thought you were trying much too hard in order to sound deep, and it didn't come off how I think you intended it to.

The one thing I think you need to inject into your work a little bit is some sort of comic relief at some point. There was sometimes here, I guess, but your music can sound so serious that sitting through 20 songs can feel pretty heavy without any real break from the tone.

As for the features, I didn't really care for Dilz or Dimes. DGAF had some pretty solid moments. ROM was good, but I personally wouldn't have used the verse due to the audio quality. That's not to take away from ROM, because I thought he did fine, it was just the audio quality was way below the rest of the album so it felt like it didn't fit.

Overall I definitely thought it was an improvement. I don't want to sound too negative, but I don't think it would be fair of me to only point out positives.

^ Appreciate the honest feed, CP. I see (hear) what you mean about the 'end of the bar' thing as well as the content concerns. I can't really argue with you haha. I get kinda numb with my own voice so sometimes I can't hear the faults until someone else points them out. But I'm glad you enjoyed at least some of this. Thanks for giving it a listen, my man. :y:

No worries. Overall I thought it was very listenable, I just wanted to make sure I provided you with some constructive feedback rather than "wow good 4 rekording a CD m8!".
