Just upgraded my Macbook Pro to this (took forever). I'm loving this so far. Everything seems so fluid and translucent The UI desperately needed an overhaul and this is pretty great.

Keep in mind that with downloading it from the app store and updating your system expect for it to be out of commission for at least an hour and a half.

OSX is so fucking awesome for music and video. I used to use it back in the day when I fucked with Albeton or whatever I was using. It's a shame that I use a PC now, but I'm not complaining. Macs are just really nostalgic for me. I would of liked it if I kept using my Mac, because it seems like Macs handle RAM and whatnot a lot better than a PC does and Macs also give you better access to MIDI.

I too have Mavericks. Good to hear that the new OS is worth the update.

No. Yosemite came out on the 16th this month. Go to the app store and Yosemite should be on the front page. It is free to download and upgrade

I really like the update, too. LOVING the dark theme, been a long time coming. I wish it didn't automatically effect the Dock. Should be a light/dark option for menu and a dark/light option for dock... they're one the same thing.

I fucking got a heart attack when I updated my iPhone and only saw recent pics. thought all my pics were gone. the new thing was crap
