American's are not the only people who travel, that's one major impact its had on non Americans.

It had much more impact, everybody remembers 11S, but how many people remember 11M in Madrid?, we were attacked as well. It was not as big as in New York, but around 200 people lost their life and around 2000 injured, some of them seriously injured.

Yeah well my point is some terrorist attacks practically are forgotten about soon after but others blow up and will forever be remembered (no pun intended).

It should be noted that hundreds of non-Americans, too, died in the attacks. That's one of the many reasons it affected the globe.

Elementary school. Teachers were talking, no one knew what was going on. Us kids didn't understand. They sent us home early that day. I still remember walking out of the building with my grandparents picturing of when the plane hit the second tower, not understanding anything.

I was 5 years old, and honestly don't have recollection of the event at all.

Whenever I moved 8 years ago I found out one of my neighbours' relatives died on one of the planes, which was unfortunate.
