My opinions are reputable and plausible. You're just blind.

If your post was about Eminem now, why is it that when EminemBase brought up examples from pre-hiatus Eminem to refute your claim that Eminem isn't known for being a great lyricist, you stood by your assertion?

"Eminem isn't known to be an insane lyricist" is about as dumb as saying Andy Roddick isn't known for his serving.

Rakim:

It's to my real ill niggas, heavy(weight hitters)
Dough getters, fifty ways to (make figures)
My niggas, that come on the spot to feel sisters
Like they hear real spitters and kids on the zigga-ziggas
When it's ugly, then the club is lovely
Thugs be sipping Hennessey and bubbly
To my comrades that keep it flaming hot
On dangerous blocks, claiming spots
Where the goal is to be one of the top-ranked soldiers
Forty-five holders, one of the high rollers
Get respect in the hood, credit is good
Knock it down lumberjack style, baby, extra wood (syllables don't align)
Rock it all night long, the bang-a-thon baby
Keep hanging on, we like it with the lights on
Don't have to blow twenty thou' to get to know honey's style
Show her the town, steal her heart, no money down

Eminem (I'll stop at 16 to make it fair):

I'm liable to start a violent spark with a silent thought
I disgust you like dialogue from The Shop to The Wired Frog
Night club, shit, I was taught if your CD's on fire
You had to put it out yourself like Highland Park, no fire department
So you may not hear sirens at all
But don't be alarmed if I sound off
Something just ain't right with me, dawg
A martyr on a private charter, whose life could be harder?
Widely regarded, highly bite me, sweetheart, I'm slightly retarded
But tonight I'm starting shit, I'm feeling self righteous
I might just hop in a mosh pit on some Mike Tyson and Pac shit
Looking to box with anybody, disorderly conduct
I'll fuck around and snort a key and pick a fight with a locksmith
(Fan of) the LOX, ba(nanas) (manic), I'm going in shock (inverse: in shock, frantic/fan of the LOX)
Frantic, I'm trapped in a closet
Panic attack cause I'm claustrophobic

I'm sure I still missed stuff, and it got to the point where I ran out of ways to identify schemes within schemes.

Well wiz is right to defend other talent in hip-hop but yeah no one can take anything away from Em. He is a complete package.
What impressed me most in this album is his production. Surprising, interesting and lovely. I guess the tracks he produced are... Fine line, Right for me, Twisted, Down, Vegas, Shady XV and Die alone. Enjoyed the production a lot

I'm simply demonstrating that the claims you made about rhyming are objectively false. We're not in 2004-2007 anymore, dude. Eminem's off the pills. Nobody can out-rhyme him.

But yeah Em is more than just a basic rhymer... His top rhymes are among the best in hip-hop... Em is above basic in almost everything.

I'd say he's above average, but nothing special. He's just a good rapper. Do you respect Em for his lines or rhymes more? See.

Lines but his rhymes are good. His multis are special... How can you deny that... the mmlp2 em and shady xv em has shown his capability to rhyme... His rhyme schemes are complex and fun to listen.. not a fun to read.. but fun to listen undoubtedly

His multies are good, but rhyme schemes force him off beat. That's why he does that stop-go thing.

Okay i guess we think about Em's rhyming ability a bit differently... doesn't matter he is dope rapper who has cemented his legacy. One of the biggest artist of the past 15 years and probably the biggest rap artist in that period

LOL, what?

Boy I need no halves and halves, I want the game in entirety
100 percent cut, no stitches required
Welcome to Detroit where if you get that promotion
Don't worry, man them bullets will still be at your ass firin'
I still call it safe, I would suck if I was umpirin'
Boy I hit the beat I just treat that shit like a diary
I'm offended if you hear my new shit and you ain't rewindin' me
Self made, I never needed your bail or a wire, see
I'm never callin' collect, I call to collect
My homie wanted a Chevy so I put my dog in the vet
Ahh! Plus I'm so loyal that that paper, boy, is all that I fetch
If the ball in my hand then the ball in the net
Bitch I'm the D, can't no offense dunk on me
I'm Mr. Big Shot, these hoes get drunk off me
I'm overrespected, my mama gated community's overprotective
So futuristic, I'm already over my next bitch
Reminiscin' on listenin' to 50 fifty times a day
Back when tenth grade was like fifty days away
Tryna get paid fifty ways a day
Used to put fifty on the layaway, now my closet fifty shades of grey
Twenty six and I done lived a lifetime a few times
From futons to Grey Poupons
In church tryna get a little savings, yeah coupons
I spit that A1 every day, I'm hittin' new primes
Now the stakes high, niggas surprised at the new lines
Or takin' down my number like "you still ain't got a new line?"
Nah it's the same, we've been
laborin' for years
I know it took way longer than nine months, but fuck it, it's all in due time
I turned a blunt to a roach with dreams of bein' a Beatle though
Don't want to, I need to, ya gotta learn to keep it cerebral
When you come up in a place where everyone got a piece but ain't peaceful
This is just part one, wait 'til the sequel

Eminem:

Lately it seems as if it's me against the world
Like it was before my life became a movie
And they used to use my mothafuckin' trailer to tease me with
But I flipped that script like AB filler
Painkillers to pop the lid off that safety seal
It made me feel amazing, Navy SEAL of bravery
And if I may reiterate, I ain't even need a script
I ain't bein' conceited
But
I made it to radio, eat a dick
I still never ABC the shit (syllables don't line up)
Mainstream appeal but the skill is what made me iller
Since before they called Jay Dee Dilla
I was daydreamin' one day I would be the shit
And if I ever end up escapin' these streets I swear that I would stay here
Still
in it, I'm crazy, I'll always be real
Don't make me steal an eighteen-wheeler
Break all of my friends out of here and take 'em straight to the Mercedes dealer
Peel off back to the same block that we came from, on a rampage You crazy for me to flip
What's makin' you think I need a switch? Cause I'm Adrian Peterson
When he's raging and heated and on the way to go beat his kid
On the track get spanked like he just did
(DETROIT!) I can't never leave this bitch
Sick of bein' treated like me and shit
But Jesus, I can see just why people quit callin' me to do features
And them cyphers on BET cause if I wasn't me
I probably wouldn't want to play with me neither, shit
Seems to be reachin' this
fever pitch
180 degrees in here trying to wait for the cedar chips
MCs just bit off more than they can chew like a face full of Swedish Fish
Or Lorena with two penises (syllable off)
Hateful ingeniousness, this inconvenience
And for the record, you won't want this type of static in your life
When I'm makin' you cling to it
They consider tryna re-insulate yah when it's maybe in for
another crazy winter
It's so cold in the D, it is as days begin to tick away
But ain't this really what made me into the angry bitter blonde
But ain't we sick of bein' underdogs
Don't make me unleash this shit[b],
release this Pit
[b]May even seem as if
I'm yankin' your chain a bit
Or maybe the way in which I'm sayin' shit
Is playin' with you but ain't shit changed
And it's
still the same shit and Shady's still a
lady killer
Since the day I went
insane and then attacked the babysitter
With a potato peeler and mushed her (face into the enter)tainment center
It's like another plane just entered into Ukraine again
Or
the Bermuda Triangle and attempted to make a safe descent
Awaiting anyone who ain't affiliated, it could be danger
Did
you make arrangements with the gangsters 'fore you came here?
And if they mention us

Eminem's had the Adrian Peterson scheme running throughout, goes in and out of the "made me iller" scheme, and goes in and out of the "crazy winter" scheme, with the schemes blending into each other. This is far more complex than anything the others are doing.

Eminem's choice of flow on this sucks, but his rhyme complexity is still dizzying.
