If there were another Elder Scrolls game...

for those of you who like the series (Maybe in particular)... do you think we'll see another one with this generations consoles? what would you like/not like to be in it?

i agree. it'd be nice to be recognized for stuff. and i also agree that Oblivion is as bad as people say it is. they're just bein nit picky.

i would like more armors and weapons, better landscaping, and more diverse dungeons.

yea the expansions did add a little more. i've only played through the Shivering Ilse once, so perhaps it's time to do it again since i'm bored of the Cyrodile(sp?) landscapes.

i would have to say though, that the ruins had the most unique of the repetitive dungeons because of the amount of things they put in. be it secret passages, floors that lift you into a ceiling of spikes, blades that come down and cut your life in half.

also, i would like the items to be more useful. what's the point of being able to pick up forks, plates, napkins, paint brushes, ink things, and cloth if you can't do anything with it. as if they tried to make the world real by giving it all these things but the player itself isn't able to use them.
perhaps adding some skills to make these things useful. like maybe a scroll writing skill so that you use the quills to write your own magic scrolls since spell creating is so fucking expensive. so to compensate you get to make one time use spells.

My friends really like Oblivion so one day I got it from them and I quite liked it really even though I didn't get much passed the escape from the prison. I made a massive faced idiot who looks like he's been punched, with a friar's hairstyle just with the pink colour added to it. Friar Fistface.

yea the people in the game are butt ass ugly. hopefully they fix that.

Maybe: i hope that's the case because i don't wanna buy a new system just to play it. however, since i do enjoy the games so much i probably would have bought the new console for the game.

the Thieves Guild in Oblivion had a mission where you had to get info from a guy in jail. one of the ways was to get thrown in yourself.

i would like that to be expanded. i like your idea of having a story for the jail. would be nice if perhaps somebody was innocent and you had to help him get freed. or a rich guy offers you a huge chunk of money to help him flee.

Or it would be nice if they remade/updated one of the older games...I wanna play them, but they are fucking dos and are way 2 ugly for my eyes.

i went out of my way to try to play Daggerfall. i've been dying to play it, downloaded Dosbox and everything. couldn't get the piece of shit to work.

and yea if only we could make the next one. i'm not too interested in making animations and what not, but i can spew ideas for any game.
