apart from what ali jack said about reducing the need for a sexual partner, i've also come across some references which say that masturbation is like killin babies, like 200 million of 'em ..i had this one guy tryin to make me understand on how that works, but it sounds really silly
my understand is that masturbation should not be a hobby, it shold be done like when your about to burst or something,thats all

As for the killing babies thing I think they have souls before 6 months, but it's not killing a baby. Think of a baby as a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. Without the PB AND the J you don't have a sandwich. You need sperm AND an egg for it to become a baby. So yeah it doesn't matter if you waste a couple hundred million of them. Especially since men produce sperm all the time

It isn't necessarily killing babies. As most of us SHOULD know, sperm + egg = baby. Sperm itself does not. But I guess it can be looked at like you are killing one potential baby.

Then i'd never eat again. That's one potential shit i'd have to take at the wrong time.
