Anyways, the movie is dope in terms of the computer-generated effects. I am currently taking the course in school and believe me, it's hard to do the Earth crumbling, and the buildings collapsing.

The main point is, their marketing from a theory. I don't believe/give a fuck about the world ending in 2012 because I don't believe in that mumbo jumbo bullshit, BUT this is a movie, and if they wasted 200 million dollars on it, then I automatically want to watch it because I'm curious to how it looks. And also that actor did a dope job in 1408. And this movie isn't based on actual facts, only ideas of 2012, so to go ahead and turn a theory into a big budget film, I think its smart, business wise. Hopefully movie wise also.
