i agree with u. the main reason he got fired was money. all the major sponsors dropped out, so only then was he fired. and i agree that other shows say the shit too, but they don't get any flack for it. he said it in a joking manor, and never intended it as a serious comment. and cbs took away his freedom of speech when they fired him. even though the comments maybe shouldn't have been said, he still has the right to say them. and i heard on the radio today that some rapper (i think snoop dogg, but i could be wrong) said that imus said hoe in a derogatory way, so that makes it wrong. i don't care about any context, but callin a woman a hoe is wrong in any sense unless ur saying it in a joking manor like i think imus was. especially when u say slap my hoe or beat my hoe, like a lot of rappers do. just seems like ppl are lookin for a reaction over something small
so he was wrong in saying it, but it was just a joke. he didn't deserve to get fired, he has the freedom of speech
